Hasan Alperen Tosun, a scholarship recipient of the Contemporary Education Foundation (ÇEV), has brought us immense pride by receiving acceptances from some of the world’s most prestigious educational institutions immediately after graduating from the Department of Economics at Boğaziçi University. Our accomplished student will continue his academic journey at the University of Warwick, one of the United Kingdom’s most esteemed institutions, with a full scholarship.
Successive Acceptances from Europe’s Top Universities
After completing his undergraduate degree last month, Tosun applied to several distinguished universities across Europe for his postgraduate studies. As a result of this process, our student received full scholarship offers from Tilburg University, Barcelona Graduate School of Economics, and the University of Warwick. He also achieved partial scholarship acceptances from the London School of Economics (LSE) and University College London (UCL), which are among the world’s finest in the field of economics.
Choosing the University of Warwick, renowned for its strong economics faculty, Tosun will enroll in a rigorous six-year program comprising two years of master’s studies and four years of doctoral studies.
Selected for an Exclusive Worldwide Program with Only 15 Slots
Hasan Alperen Tosun has earned admission to this exclusive program, considered one of the world’s best economics doctoral programs, which accepts only 15 students globally. The Department of Economics at the University of Warwick will provide him with substantial financial support. Our student will receive an annual scholarship of £40,000 (£26,000 in tuition, £12,000 in living expenses, and £2,000 in transportation costs). This significant support will continue uninterrupted through his doctorate, totaling approximately £250,000.

Hasan Alperen Tosun, who has been a ÇEV scholarship recipient for ten consecutive years since the beginning of his secondary education, emphasized that the foundation’s contribution to his outstanding achievement was substantial.
